Choose how you want to help

You can direct your gift to:

  • Community-Wide Care. Your donation will be used where it is most needed. Volunteers, who are aware of local needs will distribute your gift to help people most in need and monitor nonprofit organizations to make sure your donation is well spent.
  • Targeted Care. Your donation can be directed to one or more of the areas of greatest need listed below:

Helping Children and Youth Succeed   Babies, toddlers, children and teens are given positive experiences to develop to their full potential. The Success By 6® initiative ensures that all children under age six are safe, healthy, well cared for and enter school ready to learn. Twenty agencies help children and teens learn to overcome obstacles in their daily lives, offer activities that teach self-esteem and provide caring relationships with adults and peers. Promoting Health, Healing and Safe Communities   Promotes physical and emotional wellness for the community, and services for the disabled. People get help preventing or recovering from injury, abuse or violence through support services and education.
Increasing Self Sufficiency   Working to prevent hunger and homelessness helps people become independent, contributing members of our community.
Enriching Seniors' Lives   Community seniors remain independent, contributing citizens by maintaining their health and well-being and staying involved in our community.

  • Specific Care. United Way of Southeastern Idaho will send your gift to any human service 501 (c) (3) nonprofit agency you request.
