Beth has worked for United Way of Southeastern Idaho since 2006, first as a volunteer and currently as part-time staff handling the front office together with Robin Nelson.  Prior to joining United Way, Beth served as the Director of Pocatello Called to Care, an interfaith volunteer program started with funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.  Beth holds a Bachelor's degree in General Science/Secondary Education from Idaho State University.   

 

Margaret Ganyo

Margaret has been executive director of United Way of Southeastern Idaho since 2004. Her background is in working with non-profit organizations, legal services and community relations. She was formerly with the Pocatello Neighborhood Housing Services, where she focused on community outreach and fund raising. Prior to joining PNHS, Margaret was a practicing attorney and the Director of Pro Bono Services with Utah Legal Services as well as an adjunct professor at the University of Utah School of Law. She graduated Cum Laude from the Santa Clara University School of Law in California, studied in the Honors Program at the Universidad de Granada in Spain and has a Bachelor's of Arts degree Magna Cum Laude in Political Science and Spanish from Central College in Pella, Iowa.

 

Robin Nelson

Robin has been with the United Way since September 2006.  She holds a Bachelor of Education degree with Honors from the University of Durham, England in English.  Robin was awarded the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award and once walked 600 miles across northern Spain on the Camino de Santiago.  She previously worked for the National Childhood Cancer Foundation and is a certified Ceroc dance instructor.
